Piano Lessons 

I offer piano lessons for intermediate, advanced, and adult students, grounded in a deep expertise in pianism, technique, and performance practice. As both a concert pianist and musicologist, my teaching integrates expert technical training, historical and cultural awareness, and interpretive insight experimentation, with particular specialization in Romantic repertoire while maintaining fluency across all styles.

My approach emphasizes building a highly efficient, healthy technical foundation — developing self-awareness, ease, fluency, and self-command at the keyboard. At the same time, lessons are structured as a collaborative and adaptive musical conversation, tailored to each student’s goals, experience, and learning style. Students are encouraged not only to play, but to understand the mechanics behind music and musical concepts: how the body works, how the keyboard produces sound, and how interpretation emerges across historical material, modern technology, and imagination.

In addition to ongoing lessons, I offer one-time coachings and consultations focused on specific goals, including practice strategies, technical problem-solving, repertoire development, and performance preparation. These sessions are ideal for pianists seeking targeted guidance, fresh perspective, or intensive support around a particular piece, project, or event.
